At the ripe age of 19, the Twins 2023 first round pick took over the lower levels of the minors in 2024. Jenkins has one of the most complete bats in minor league baseball with a lot of room to grow. He walked more than he struck out across his time at Low-A Fort Myers, High-A Cedar Rapids, and Double-A Wichita (1.19 BB/K). His raw power is roughly average for his age and level, but given how much he makes contact, he’ll likely start tapping into the power more as he moves through Minnesota’s system. There’s not a lot of prospects that can say that they have the same type of outlook offensively as Jenkins. He also provides elsewhere as he can play a solid center field with a plus arm and speed. He was coming off of a lower body injury early in 2024 so he did DH a lot, but should get some more run in the outfield in 2025 on some healthy legs. While it looks like he may be a better fit in right field long-term, he should still provide value both with the glove and legs.
