Below is a tool I have used and encourage you to use in your research of Minor League prospects. It’s important to view players in their context when projecting future performance. Their is a plethora of resources across the internet you can use to do so, but this is a more simple yet effective way to evaluate a player relative to their competition.
The numbers for each level (ex. AAA, AA, A+ etc.) are taken from every hitter with at least one plate appearance, while the numbers for each specific league are taken from qualified hitters to give a better idea of what a player that sticks around at that level for a longer period of time looks like.
