Bryce Eldridge comes in ranked as my only Giants prospect and is the consensus top player in the Giants farm system across baseball following a big 2024 campaign. His 23 home runs led all Giants minor league hitters while his .513 SLG, .885 OPS, and 137 wRC+ all ranked within the top five. He also hit more home runs than anyone in the minor leagues 19 years old or younger, At just the age of 20 now, Eldridge possesses some of the best raw power in minor league baseball. Standing in at 6’7” and 223 lbs, he’s physically comparable to Aaron Judge from the left side of the plate. Although he does strike out a lot, he displays a patient approach, walking at a career 12.2% clip. While he recently moved to first base, Eldridge was a two-way talent in high school where he threw 90+ mph on the mound. He has a strong arm from the outfield and could end up back out there if his defense doesn’t click at first base long term.
